Spiced Mocha Mix
1/2 cup powdered coffee cream
1/2 cup cocoa mix
1/3 cup instant coffee
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Add mixture to pint sized jelly jars and add a Gift Tag.
Directions for Use: Add 2 Tablespoons of Mixture for every 1 cup of hot water.
Instant Cappuccino Mix
Ingredients:1 cup powdered chocolate milk mix
3/4 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
1/2 cup instant coffee granules
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
In a medium bowl combine all ingredients. Store in airtight container. To serve: Place 1 heaping tablespoon mix in a cup or mug. Add 1 cup boiling water and stir.
Spiced Apple Cake Mix
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. powdered vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup golden raisins
Combine and blend ingredients in a medium bowl. Store in an airtight container.

Spiced Apple Cake
Serves 8 to 10
1 Jar Apple Spice Mix
1 1/2 cups canola oil
3 large eggs
3 cups chopped apples
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees . Grease a tube or Bundt pan. Place the Spiced Apple Cake Mix into a mixing bowl. Make a well in the center of the Mix; add the oil, eggs, and apples. Stir until mixture is smooth. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour & 10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool; remove from the cake pan.
Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix In A Jar Recipe
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour1/4 tsp. salt
1 t baking soda
2 t cream of tartar
1 1/2 c sugar
(Makes 4 1/4 cups of mix.)
Combine the ingredients with a whisk. Place in jar.
Combine: 1/2 c sugar and 1 T cinnamon and place in a small ziploc bag and attach to the outside of the jar. Label the bag Sugar/Cinnamon Blend.

Snickerdoodles
(makes about 5 dozen cookies)
1 c butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs
1 pkg. Snickerdoodle Mix
1/2 sugar
1 T cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350°F. In the large bowl of an electric mixer, cream the butter/margarine until light. Add the eggs and beat on low until the mixture is smooth. Add the Snickerdoodle Mix and continue mixing on low until the dough begins to form. Place the Sugar/Cinnamon Blend in a small bowl. Shape the dough into 1" balls and roll in the Sugar/Cinnamon Blend. Arrange the dough balls on ungreased baking sheets 2" apart. Bake 16 to 19 minutes, or until light tan. Transfer to wire racks to cool.
Gingerbread Cookie Mix In A Jar Recipe
8 cups flour2 cups sugar
1/4 cup baking powder
1 Tbs. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. ginger
1 Tbs. cinnamon
2 cups shortening
Sift dry ingredients and cut shortening into it with a pastry blender. Measure 3 cups into 4 jars. Decorate jars with raffia or ribbon.
Attach gingerbread cutter and the following recipe:
Gingerbread Boys
3 cups gingerbread mix
1/3 cup molasses
1/4 cup flour
1 slightly beaten egg
Combine gingerbread mix, molasses, egg and flour. Blend well. Roll to 1/4" thickness on lightly floured surface. Cut into gingerbread shapes. Place on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Cool. Can be decorated with cinnamon candies. Recipe should be used within 3 months.
Potato Soup Mix In A Jar Recipe
1-3/4 cups instant mashed potatoes1-1/2 cups dry milk
2 tablespoons instant chicken bouillon
2 teaspoons dried minced onion
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 teaspoon turmeric
1-1/2 teaspoons seasoning salt
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix. Makes 6 servings. Place in 1 quart canning jars to store.
Instructions to attach to jar:
To serve Potato Soup: Place 1/2 cup mix in soup bowl and add 1 cup boiling water. Stir until smooth.
Quick Muffin Mix In A Jar Recipe
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup wheat bran cereal
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
Combine all ingredients in a large airtight container. Store at room temperature until ready to use. Stir well before measuring for the muffin recipe. Yield: about 6 cups.
Blueberry Muffins
3 cups Muffin Mix
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1/4 cup applesauce
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a mixing bowl, combine first three ingredients. Stir in blueberries. In another bowl, beat milk, eggs, applesauce and vanilla. Stir into blueberry mixture just until moistened. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full. Bake at 425°F for 15-18 minutes or until muffins test done. Cool in pan 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack. (Can substitute other kinds of berries for blueberries and/or add nuts.) Yield: about 1 dozen.
